Concepticon is pleased to announce that Oleg, the innovative modular container designed by Architect Andrea Cingoli, is finally available for sale in Emporium retailers.
A big step forward for our design studio: in recent years we have believed so much in Oleg and this is one of the most important recognitions we have received this year.
Made of wood with a combination of turned and lacquered elements, Oleg combines functionality and design in a unique product. Its versatility makes it ideal for meeting the furnishing needs of domestic and professional environments, offering infinite combination possibilities.
Thanks to its transformable structure, Oleg can be used as a bedside table, coffee table, coat rack, console and much more, easily adapting to changing contemporary lifestyles.
Oleg will be available in two variants, cubic and spherical. We invite you to see it in Emporium retailers and be inspired by a product that combines aesthetics, innovation and accessibility.
Another international success for Concepticon which, together with Kevin Chu of Creazioni SUGO, won the Red Dot Award Spatial Communication 2024 with the installation “One 4 All”.
The creation “One 4 All” was born when the Superdesign Show at the Fuori Salone in Milan this year and is an installation that redefines the object within the space by adapting and remodulating its forms to dialogue with the place that surrounds it.
Inspired by nature, the movement of insects, the dry branches of trees and the flexibility of leaves, it creates a duality between recycling and regeneration with a dichotomy that vibrates with strength and vitality.
We are honored to have received this coveted award: the Red Dot Award is one of the mostrenowned and prestigious international design awards that, with its jury of industry experts, annually awards this coveted recognition to the works that stand out for their quality.

Together with renowned Abruzzese artists to represent the best local craftsmanship. The 54th Abruzzo Artistic Craftsmanship Exhibition has recently concluded, in which our studio participated in collaboration with two prominent entities: Adriano Berengo’s Berengo Studio and Kevin Chu’s Creazione SUGO.
The event – held in Guardiagrele from August 1st to 25th – celebrates the excellence and tradition of Abruzzese craftsmanship with a common theme: “LIGHT.” For this occasion, Concepticon Studio presented several projects. Thanks to the collaboration with Creazione SUGO and Kevin Chu, we showcased our installation ONE 4 ALL, initially created for Milan Design Week and the Superdesign Show. Among our featured pieces was Oleg, a versatile furniture system that can be transformed into bookshelves, coat racks, tables, or lighting fixtures.
We are particularly pleased with the warm reception and appreciation we received throughout the exhibition. For us, it is essential to continue “voicing” Abruzzese craftsmanship in all its forms, shedding “light” on innovation and beauty.
Our participation is a testament to the studio’s commitment to enhancing the region’s artisanal techniques through collaborative projects that look towards the future without forgetting our roots.
In a significant gesture of support for the arts, Concepticon has just donated an Oleg artwork to the Flavio Lucchini Art Association in Milan, which is dedicated to promoting the knowledge and appreciation of art with cultural, informational, educational, charitable, and conservation purposes.
The donation underscores Concepticon’s unwavering commitment to promoting cultural initiatives and supporting artistic communities. “We believe in the power of art to inspire, educate, and transform,” said designer Andrea Cingoli. “This donation is a testament to our dedication to these values and our desire to contribute meaningfully to the cultural landscape.”
The donation was made in collaboration with designer Kevin Chu of Creazione SUGO, who also ‘donated’ his Stick Insect artwork, presented alongside Oleg at the latest Superdesign Show 2024 in Milan during the Fuori Salone event.
The artwork will be a valuable addition to their collection, enhancing their efforts to educate and engage the public with high-quality art.
On June 10th, we will be at the Chamber of Deputies to discuss “Design 4 All.” Architect and designer Andrea Cingoli, founder of Concepticon Design Studio, will participate in the conference “Inclusive Tourism as a Growth Factor” held at the Sala Regina of the Chamber of Deputies in Piazza di Monte Citorio, Rome.
The event, organized by Hon. Simonetta Matone in collaboration with the association Ruote a Spasso APS, will feature representatives from associations and companies particularly sensitive to the topic. As stated in the declared objectives, the initiative “is a unique opportunity to explore the transformative potential of usability in the tourism and cultural sectors. In a world increasingly characterized by diversity of abilities, an aging population, and increased use of strollers, usability becomes imperative to ensure everyone can fully participate in the travel experience.”
Among the speakers of this important day of discussions will be Andrea Cingoli, who will talk about ‘design for all’. His speech will focus particularly on the theme of “inclusive design,” an approach to design aimed at creating objects that improve the lives of all people with their different “characteristics and sensitivities.” This theme can also be applied in the context of tourism.
This approach to flexible and inclusive design was also the subject of Andrea Cingoli and his Concepticon Studio’s recent participation in the latest Salone del Mobile in Milan. An installation held at Superstudio (Fuori Salone) showcased the ‘Oleg’ project, a multifunctional and flexible piece of furniture capable of changing its functions and arrangements according to different contexts of use, abilities, and needs.
Andrea Cingoli’s interest in inclusive design themes is a long-standing one, making this conference at Montecitorio a particularly appropriate and fruitful context for discussing and delving deeper into the topic.
In addition to Andrea Cingoli, the conference will be attended by numerous personalities from the world of institutions, associations, and businesses, including the Minister for Disabilities Alessandra Locatelli. The conference will be moderated by Dr. Benedetta Capelli, a journalist from Vatican Radio.
Proud to announce that we will be at the Fuori Salone 2024 in Milan in April, during the “Salone del Mobile”, inside the Superdesign Show event at Superstudio, together with Designer Kevin Chu of SUGO Creations.
Inside the exhibition you will find our “One 4 All” space, ‘one for all’, which tells the story of two products that can express functional flexibility and aesthetics accessible to any type of user.
Our design Oleg and “Stick Insect” by SUGO creations respond to the exhibition theme “Everything, Everywhere, Everyone”.
Oleg, in fact, can change its function by modifying its position. It can colonize spaces with infinite combinations of modules. The legs allow it to be positioned in different ways to create different pieces of furniture: bedside table, coffee table, coat rack, storage unit, console and much more, depending on the user’s will and imagination.
The biggest challenge was to reconcile the idea of a modular product with a unique aesthetic and functional result. Oleg opens up to infinite recombinatory possibilities because it was born as an ‘open work’ open to the free interpretation of the buyer.
We look forward to seeing you from April 16 to 21 at Via Tortona 27, Milan.
From idea to reality, it is an honor to announce that ‘Castelli di Ceramica’ vases will be exhibited at the ‘Mostra dell’Artigianato Artistico Abruzzese’ until August 28 in Guardiagrele (CH). The annual exhibition, now in its 52nd edition, aims to safeguard and promote local artisan artistic activities in order to pass them on to future local generations and make them known beyond the borders of the territory.
A noble purpose that closely resembles the one that inspired us in the design of ‘Castelli di Ceramica’: design objects characterized by historical craftsmanship excellence but re-imagined with a modern taste. Object able to decorate, intrigue, surprise.
The three vases retain the same productive, aesthetic, and qualitative characteristics of Castelli’s ceramics, but with an important difference: the modular shape, capable of bringing the value of a centuries-old heritage to our daily routine. Each vase can be broken down to create a table kit of four bowls of different sizes to be used as containers for food or drinks. To bring centuries of history to the table, respecting the functional needs of our contemporaneity.
After the international awards obtained – the ‘Golden’ prize of the Novum Design Award and the ‘Iron’ prize in two categories of the A ‘Design Award – it is a success to be recognized also in our territory, especially in a context specifically dedicated to Abruzzo’s craftsmanship. A further incentive to continue in our work together with the ‘Castelli Innova‘ network of potters.
We therefore invite you to visit the exhibition to see our vases live. But hurry up, the works will only be exhibited until August 28.
For more information on the exhibition, you can visit the dedicated website of the organizing body of the exhibition and follow its Facebook page.
A truly exciting year for our designer Andrea Cingoli. Over the last months, he has been awarded in prestigious international competitions, and last but not least the Eurasian Prize Award.
Concepticon received the GOLDEN PRIZE thanks to our super-awarded Oleg. An award that fills us with pride – not only for the result obtained – but also for the jury that awarded it. A pool of prestigious names, such as the famous architect Daniel Libeskind, the great designer Piero Lissoni, Doriana Mandrelli Fuksas, and many others.
The Eurasian Prize Award is an important competition organized in Russia, which rewards architects and designers from all over the world, highlighting the most promising projects with greater opportunities for the future.

Andrea Cingoli continues to achieve important goals. After the successful 2018 edition, A’ Design Award and Competition, the coveted international design competition, has recognized his value once again. Indeed, the two projects presented in the 2021 edition, Oleg and Castelli di Ceramica, have even earned him 3 prizes: 1 Silver and 2 Irons!
And the Silver Award in the ‘Furniture Design’ category went to… Oleg! Oleg is a transformable storage unit, entirely made of wood, which changes its intended use depending on how it is positioned. Aesthetics, functionality and versatility all combined in one high-quality design element with a captivating shape! These characteristics make Oleg perfectly able to adapt to our constantly changing lifestyle. All this while remaining consistent to the innovative and modular concept that has inspired the designer from the very beginning.
Castelli di Ceramica, the other project awarded, has received 2 Iron Awards in 2 different categories: ‘Arts, Craft and Ready-Made Design’ and ‘Bakeware, Tableware, Drinkware and Cookware Design’. Castelli di Ceramica is a ceramic vase which has won over the judges thanks to the combination of craftsmanship and versatility. The Castelli ceramics’ typical features are respected: extremely high-quality pottery and traditional style handmade decorations. In addition, the Cingoli’s project enhance these historical characteristics with a modular system so it can be used in different ways. When closed it is mostly a design vase to be placed in the center of a table or to enrich a piece of furniture. While, when the modules are separated, each of them can be used as a refined bowl to have breakfast or a salad.
