Together with renowned Abruzzese artists to represent the best local craftsmanship. The 54th Abruzzo Artistic Craftsmanship Exhibition has recently concluded, in which our studio participated in collaboration with two prominent entities: Adriano Berengo’s Berengo Studio and Kevin Chu’s Creazione SUGO.
The event – held in Guardiagrele from August 1st to 25th – celebrates the excellence and tradition of Abruzzese craftsmanship with a common theme: “LIGHT.” For this occasion, Concepticon Studio presented several projects. Thanks to the collaboration with Creazione SUGO and Kevin Chu, we showcased our installation ONE 4 ALL, initially created for Milan Design Week and the Superdesign Show. Among our featured pieces was Oleg, a versatile furniture system that can be transformed into bookshelves, coat racks, tables, or lighting fixtures.
With Berengo Studio, we focused on glass and art, exhibiting various products: from Vasquid, a biomorphic vase with countless tentacles, to Flamp, a lamp made from FLEXIGLASS © that allows shaping glass without the use of high-temperature ovens.
We are particularly pleased with the warm reception and appreciation we received throughout the exhibition. For us, it is essential to continue “voicing” Abruzzese craftsmanship in all its forms, shedding “light” on innovation and beauty.
Our participation is a testament to the studio’s commitment to enhancing the region’s artisanal techniques through collaborative projects that look towards the future without forgetting our roots.
