From idea to reality, it is an honor to announce that ‘Castelli di Ceramica’ vases will be exhibited at the ‘Mostra dell’Artigianato Artistico Abruzzese’ until August 28 in Guardiagrele (CH). The annual exhibition, now in its 52nd edition, aims to safeguard and promote local artisan artistic activities in order to pass them on to future local generations and make them known beyond the borders of the territory.
A noble purpose that closely resembles the one that inspired us in the design of ‘Castelli di Ceramica’: design objects characterized by historical craftsmanship excellence but re-imagined with a modern taste. Object able to decorate, intrigue, surprise.
The three vases retain the same productive, aesthetic, and qualitative characteristics of Castelli’s ceramics, but with an important difference: the modular shape, capable of bringing the value of a centuries-old heritage to our daily routine. Each vase can be broken down to create a table kit of four bowls of different sizes to be used as containers for food or drinks. To bring centuries of history to the table, respecting the functional needs of our contemporaneity.
After the international awards obtained – the ‘Golden’ prize of the Novum Design Award and the ‘Iron’ prize in two categories of the A ‘Design Award – it is a success to be recognized also in our territory, especially in a context specifically dedicated to Abruzzo’s craftsmanship. A further incentive to continue in our work together with the ‘Castelli Innova‘ network of potters.
