Bo-art

Bo-art a multipurpose object.
If hung on a wall it is an ornamental element, set with the decorative elements visible it becomes an original tray or serving dish, while if turned over onto the smooth side it can be used as a chopping board or even as a plate.
Even the hole has two functions: it can be used to hang Bo-art as a work of art, but it is also in fact a single-portion spaghetti measuring device.

Design e sustainability
In addition to being a useful design object, Bo-art also embodies the idea of sustainability. The chopping board is in fact made from Solid Surface processing waste, an antibacterial, strong, easy-clean material which is 100% recyclable. Every part is optimized thanks to a broad combinatorial scheme that creates modules of eyes, nose, mouth and ears.

Different combinations
The elements are then distributed on the faces/chopping boards, creating combinations and expressions that are always different. Each chopping board is the result of the collaboration between the designer and the assembler. This dynamic determines the fundamental characteristics of the product: each chopping board is a unique and unrepeatable piece, almost a work of art; the assemblers work in close collaboration with the designer and are more satisfied with their work; the company reduces production costs thanks to the recovery of waste materials thus taking into consideration the issue of eco-sustainability. This type of creative approach is a completely new aspect in the production process.

Bo-art is the perfect union of an everyday useful object and an art object, within the framework of a lifestyle oriented towards sustainability.
