“Castelli di Ceramica” is a modular ceramic pot for use as a fruit bowl or container. The design revisits in a modern way the traditional heritage of ceramics of Castelli, one of the most important Italian centers of the handmade ceramics.
The decoration is handmade.
The design is accompanied by a business plan that aims to create work in the area and sell the product worldwide.
The project has already received the patronage of the major territorial institutions.
Inspiration
The great tradition of Ceramics of Castelli is our inspiration. In the heart of Italy, Castelli is a charming village 150 km from Rome. Here, ceramic is an excellence which has centuries of history, exhibited in the world’s most important museums.
In this project, the ceramic is revitalized to give a contemporary dimension to a centuries-old tradition: modularity, ease of use and timeless design, with hand-decorated pieces one by one.
